Sierra Watershed Education Partnerships (SWEP) is a small, community-focused nonprofit based in the Tahoe-Truckee region. Founded in 1994 by a group of passionate parents and teachers, SWEP began with a shared goal: to provide local students with meaningful science and environmental education that connects them to their nearby creeks, forests, and natural surroundings.
