What is this program? SWEP’s “Junior Explorers” Summer Camps are a fun and hands-on way for your child to be immersed in nature-based learning experiences during the summer months.

How does this program work? Each day, children will learn about plants, animals and stewardship through environmental science activities, service learning projects, art projects, nature journaling, interactive games, outdoor recreation, and exploring the forests, streams, and meadows of the Lake Tahoe region.

​

Who can participate in this program? The program is designed for K-5th grade students.

​

Where is this program offered? Location/Basecamp:  Each day will begin at the 30ft. yurt at the base of the Tahoe Cross Country Center at 925 Country Club Dr. Tahoe City, CA, .
