What is this program? Community outreach and advocacy is a goal of the Envirolution Clubs to inspire community members to make sustainable choices. The Envirolution club has expanded into leading roles with community efforts in the plastic bag ban, single use plastic ban, restoration projects, cleaning up the lake, protests, and climate justice projects region wide.

How does this program work? Some of the advocacy happens through Trashion Shows  offered at elementary and middle schools in the region as well as at the community Earth Day celebration at Squaw Valley. High school club members act as mentors to younger Green Team and Eco-Action club members and together clubs work towards climate justice for our schools, community and planet.

Who can participate in this program? 9th - 12th grade students.

Where is this program offered? Envirolution Clubs are offered at Truckee High and North Tahoe High.
