Kings Beach ES

Students at Kings Beach Elementary School in Kings Beach have completed a number of place-based service-learning projects:

• planter boxes: planter boxes constructed along with the Boys & Girls Club building but never finished had their soil replaced and amended, irrigation systems repaired, and were planted with native plants, decorative plants, and food plants; the school, Boys & Girls Club, Project Mana, Parent-Teacher Organization, and local businesses were involved in the project
