South Tahoe Environmental Education Coalition (STEEC)
This leadership group is composed of a number of individuals and the agencies and organizations they represent, primarily in the South Lake Tahoe area, though the group also works with Zephyr Cove & Stateline in Nevada.
Groups involved include: Sierra Watershed Education Partnerships (SWEP), Lake Tahoe schools (Lake Tahoe USD and private schools), USDA Forest Service, Lahontan Regional Water Quality Control Board, Tahoe Resource Conservation District, South Tahoe Refuse, Tahoe-Baikal Institute, Lake Tahoe Community College, California Tahoe Conservancy and others.
