Refund Policy

This refund policy applies to the Tahoe Environmental Literacy Summit and the Tahoe Watershed Tours, not necessarily to other events offered by SWEP or the other summit and tour partners.

Registration fees may be refunded, under certain circumstances:

• During the regular registration period ending on October 4 at 5:00PM: refund of registration fee minus a $5 handling fee (resulting in $15 refund of the $20 summit registration fee)
• During the late registration period ending October 10 at noon: refund of 50% of registration fee minus a $5 handling fee (resulting in $5 refund of the $20 summit registration fee)
• After this time, no refund of registration fees, under any circumstances

To cancel your registration, contact registrar Dan Allison, 775-997-4937, dan@4swep.org. We realize that your circumstances may change and that unexpected conflicts may arise. However, the event hosts will have already made significant expenditures for keynote speakers, workshop materials, food and beverage, and facilities, which makes it impossible to offer full refunds.

Membership dues in Friends of SWEP or of any of the partners will not be refunded.
