Sierra Watershed Education Partnerships
Your donation supports hands-on environmental monitoring, restoration and public outreach projects with youth throughout the Truckee and Lake Tahoe region. Learn more about what SWEP does by linking to our "Projects" page.
Starting now, you can give a gift that you can feel great about giving. It lasts all year long, creates no new waste, and promotes our local econonmy and environmental stewardship. By giving the gift of SWEP, your friends and loved ones can feel good about what they get...not only are you supporting youth environmental stewardship projects in their name, but they get all the benefits of being a Friend! We keep your gift recipient informed of our activities through quarterly newsletters and occasional email updates on our latest projects.
Gifting is easy! Simply decide on the gift amount, fill out the gifting form, and either pay by credit card or send a check to SWEP. When we recieve your payment, we will send out a beautiful gift card with your personalized message.
If you chose to pay by credit card, click the above link, followed by an email to christine@4swep.org (this way your gift will be processed in the shortest amount of time!).
We all live in a watershed and it takes individuals like you to build community, improve our schools, and create a sense of place and connection for our youth. Friends of SWEP are a diverse group of individuals who care about exposing the young people of Tahoe Truckee to the wonders of nature through exploration, discovery and actions. By becoming a Friend, you allow us to provide youth with the knowledge, skills and experiences necessary for them to become active stewards of our communities and our environment, now and in the future.
Your tax-deductible donation, combined with contributions of other Friends like you has the power to involve even more young people in our comprehensive watershed education programs. Your contribution is a direct investment in our community.
All Friends recieve email updates about our projects, activities and volunteer opportunities. Friends also are kept up to date through advanced delivery of our quarterly newsletters.
